Mobile Hamburger menu

I cannot seem to access the Hamburger menu to edit it and its options - this video shows the menu options appearing around 1:15 by setting the header to FLEX - When I do this the menu options within the Hamburger menu do not appear on my screen, so I cannot edit them either to change the text or create links. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mlLm1yBaeQ

Anyone got any ideas?
